We use secure server technology to ensure this information is protected properly. We do not collect or store your bankcard information, this is done by Sagepay (please see below), and you will be securely transferred to their site in order to complete payment.

We do not pass on your details to third parties for marketing purposes and will never do so.

In order to be allowed to accept credit card payments, our merchant bank, HSBC require that we comply with the international data security standard, PCI DSS. An independent auditor, Security Metrics, examine our systems and data management processes on a quarterly basis to ensure they comply with PCI DSS standards. 

Shopping online can sometimes raise concerns about the security of your personal and credit card data. We take these concerns very seriously, and that’s why we use Sage Pay.

Sage Pay are industry leaders in processing online transactions securely, and are trusted by UK businesses of all sizes to do so. One of the key benefits to you is that we neither see nor store your credit card information – we leave that to the experts at Sage Pay, who’s top priority to ensure that your transaction data is kept secure at all times.

All transaction information passed between Love It Love It Love It and Sage Pay’s systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No customer information, including name and address details, is ever passed unencrypted. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass through to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Once on Sage Pay’s systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data they hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Sage Pay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

3-d secure

A further layer of protection is added by 3D Secure.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode (3D Secure) are the latest fraud prevention initiatives launched by Visa and MasterCard, and will soon become industry standard. 3D Secure works in a similar way to Chip and Pin, by asking you to enter a unique password in order to complete your online order.

How does it work?

1. You select the goods you wish to purchase from us and enter your order and delivery details.
2. Your credit card details are captured securely by Sage Pay. 
3. You will be prompted to enter your Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code password on your card issuer's page. 
4. Our merchant bank sends the credit card details to your card issuer who authorises or declines the transaction. 
5. Our merchant bank then sends the transaction results back to Sage Pay. 
6. Sage Pay sends the authorisation results to us and you to confirm the results of the transaction.
