Just like adult clothing, children's clothing sizes vary between different manufacturers, and size labelling techniques vary around the world. 

Here's a rough guide to the sizing of each of the clothing labels we sell, based on how they fit my average sized children. More detailed information, including guide measurements and a conversion chart will be available soon.  If you have any feedback on how garments you've bought have fitted your children, please add a comment at the bottom of the page.

4 Funky Flavours - a very petite fit over all, but more generous in leg length, which is about average.

Albababy - fairly small in the body and particularly in the neck openings, much more generous in the arm and leg length.

Boys & Girls - true to size.

Brights & Stripes - a petite fit. Slim in width and shorter than average in the limbs. Tops tend to be smaller than trousers and rompers.

Canboli - true to size.

Clothkits - loose fitting, with room for layering and real nappies.

Danefae - a very long but slim fit particularly around the waist. Ideal for tall, skinny children.

Duns Sweden - fairly generous in both width and length, particularly the terry trousers which are HUGE.

Ej Sikke Lej - average length, pretty slim fitting. Click here for the manufacturer's sizing chart.

Glug - small and fairly slim.

Green Baby - baby sizez are generous, particularly in body length. Children's sizes are more petite in length, but generous in width.

Krutter - slightly generous. 

Liandlo - true to size. Hats are big.

Lipfish - true to average size but long limbed.

Molo - quite generous, particuarly in tops, good length in leggings and rompers.

Nadadelazos - no feedback yet, but look pretty generous. 

Pili Pala - slightly petite to average.

Positively Organic - nice length in the trousers, slightly longer than normal but not ridiculous.

Smafolk - very big, but cut and fabric mean that clothes hang nicely so can be worn even if a bit too big.

Tootsa MacGinty - true to size.

Zee Spot - true to size, but length will be shorter on a chubby baby. Click here for manufacturer's sizing chart.
