We're really chuffed to have introduced two new brands to the family at Love It Love It Love It this week, both of which are an explosion of retro colourful gorgeousness. First up, from Denmark, is Småfolk. A perennial favourite with lovers of Scandinavian kidswear, they create just the maddest patterns and colours. Take this monkeys top for example:
If that sauce is a bit rich for your liking, then you can grab a toned down version of the Småfolk look with one of their block colour tops, which come in sizes 1-5 years in a choice of 8 zinging colours, including the green seen here.
Secondly, I am ridiculously excited to announce the arrival of Clothkits Couture. You may remember Clothkits from their heydays in the the 1970s and 80s - you may even have worn some of their fabulous clothes as a child yourself. Recently revamped and relaunched for the 21st Century by Kay Mawer and her team, this great British brand produces a range of modern and classic clothes for children and adults that come in kit form for you to sew together at home. What if you don't have the time, equipment or know-how to do this? Well, that's where we come in. Clothkits have made up a range of their children's clothes for us, so they're ready to wear - no waiting, no sewing, just immediate chic. They've even lined the dresses with beautiful contrasting Liberty fabric.
Our initial stock is very limited, but we'll have more lines soon, including some for boys and a wider range of sizes. Given how lovely this first shipment is, I can't wait for more, and bet you can't either!
